Awards

In the past members of the Grey Clans have received symbolic awards or medals for their accomplishments and service.  These are displayed on the members' roster page.  See the sticky "Award Nominations" thread at our forum for making nominations.

	Medal of Charity: Five nominations of giving.  Non-member nominations count for double.
	Medal of Defense: Obtained by gaining Master Sergeant PvP rank or greater.  The medal is not lost if the rank is.  Note: Some members were given honorary Medals of Defense due to performance at the Grey Knight festival.  This in no way compares to those who have earned the rank through PvP ranking.
	Medal of the Dragon: Highest award given to a Grey Knight.  This medal is retained even if the member moves to another mmorpg world.  Must obtain all 5 of the other medals within one game-world to be awarded this one.  No one has yet obtained this medal in the history of the Grey Clans.
	Guides' Medal: Helping other characters by supplying class, trade, or other guidance.  This is earned by helping others frequently in-game with information about class or trades, being a skilled raid guide, or contributing a written guide to be posted on this website.
	Medal of Sacrifice: Selfless service and time given out of game in service of the guild  5 nominations.  Out of game service could include such things as website creation, creating multiple guides for characters, making multiple posts of useful information at the forum, etc.  Anything that sucks up play time that benefits your fellow guild members.  Note: the requirements for this medal in WoW were altered 07/29/06 due to a change to the Medal of Valor.
	Medal of Valor: Dedicating time in-game to the service of other players at little or no benefit to oneself.  Being the type of player that runs other members through dungeons, runs role-playing events, spends time crafting for others, or often helping other players in-game are all examples.  Note: the requirements for this medal in WoW were changed from "death while defending others" due to the nature of the WoW death system on 07/28/06).
	Master Crafts Badge: You may obtain one crafts badge for each trade skill (not gathering skill) you raise to 300.
